Custom Dresser Complete

Another busy weekend just flew by.  Got two bedrooms painted and finished one of my custom dresser orders.  This cute little dresser is going to North Carolina for a 2-year-old little girl.  I just love custom orders because when I know a little about who it is going to, I sink a little extra heart into it.

The dresser is an antique, it came from the middle of Kentucky.  I was lucky enough to meet the guy who sold it to me since he works near Cincinnati and was able to deliver it,  When I saw the Craigslist posting I knew it was the one.

and here it is:

I also painted and lined the inside of the drawers with this pretty paper.

I hope little Emma will love it as much as I do.

  19. My little girl would just love this! I featured a painted dresser for my first Feathered Nest Friday and it never crossed my mind to paint the sides of the drawers! Hum....might have to remember that for next time! I'm going to take a peek at some of the other projects you have made.
